Lytro เทคโนโลยีถ่ายภาพใหม่ที่ทำให้คุณถ่ายก่อน โฟกัสทีหลัง!?!

พื้นฐานการถ่ายภาพที่ใครๆ ก็ทราบดีคือการหาโฟกัสหาตำแหน่งที่ต้องการจากนั้นจึงกดชัตเตอร์ถ่ายภาพ แต่นั่นไม่ใช่วิธีของ Lytro บริษัทที่เพิ่งก่อตั้งใหม่ซึ่งขอนำเสนอการถ่ายภาพแบบใหม่ด้วยการกดชัตเตอร์ไปก่อน ส่วนเรื่องตำแหน่งโฟกัสน่ะค่อยไปเลือกเอาทีหลัง

ซีอีโอของ Lytro ด็อกเตอร์ Ren Ng กล่าวว่าเทคโนโลยีที่ใช้นี้เรียกว่า "Light field" ซึ่งเป็นงานวิจัยในช่วงที่เขาศึกษาอยู่ที่ Stanford โดยใช้การเก็บข้อมูลภาพถ่ายจากการตกกระทบของแสงที่วัตถุมาหากล้องในทุกทิศทาง แยกระดับสี ระดับความเข้มออกจากกัน ซึ่งต่างจากการเก็บข้อมูลภาพถ่ายแบบเดิมที่ประมวลผลรวมในแต่ละจุดเลย

Ng เปรียบเทียบการบันทึกข้อมูลภาพแบบนี้ว่าเหมือนการบันทึกเพลงในสตูดิโอ ที่ปัจจุบันใช้การบันทึกเสียงแยกเครื่องดนตรีแล้วนำมาผสมเสียงรวมกันอีกที Light field ก็ทำแบบนี้เช่นกัน เมื่อข้อมูลภาพที่บันทึกมีการแยกระดับกันอยู่ ก็ทำให้ผู้ใช้งานสามารถเลือกโฟกัสจุดใดก็ได้ในภาพตามต้องการ และสามารถประยุกต์การนำเสนอภาพเป็นแบบสามมิติได้อย่างง่ายดาย

เทคโนโลยีใหม่ย่อมเกิดคำถามในทางธุรกิจว่าจะเป็นไปได้แค่ไหน ซึ่งการบันทึกข้อมูลแบบ Light field นี้ก็ต้องอาศัยเซนเซอร์กล้องแบบใหม่แทนที่เซนเซอร์แบบเดิมที่ใช้กันในปัจจุบัน ทาง Lytro วางแผนนำเสนอเทคโนโลยีนี้ให้เป็น "องค์ประกอบหลัก" ของกล้องดิจิตอลในอนาคตไม่ใช่แค่ส่วนเสริม โดยกล้องต้นแบบได้ผลิตออกมาแล้วโดยความร่วมมือของ Adobe ราคาจำหน่ายจะไม่สูงไปกว่ากล้องที่มีอยู่ในท้องตลาด ขนาดของไฟล์ภาพก็ถูกบีบอัดให้มีขนาดที่เหมาะสมไม่ใหญ่เกินไป แล้วใช้ซอฟท์แวร์ในการจัดการภาพถ่ายให้ได้โฟกัสที่ต้องการ

Lytro หวังว่าเทคโนโลยีนี้จะปฏิวัติวงการภาพถ่ายอย่างมาก การถ่ายภาพให้ได้ผลงานที่มีคุณภาพจะเป็นเรื่องที่ง่ายขึ้นไปอีก การถ่ายภาพวินาทีสำคัญโดยเฉพาะในเกมกีฬาจะเป็นเรื่องง่ายมากขึ้นเพราะเราสามารถโฟกัสภาพได้ในภายหลัง

Samsung เปิดตัวกล้อง NX200

ในกลุ่มกล้อง mirrorless นั้นซัมซุงบุกตลาดนี้มาตั้งแต่ปีที่แล้วด้วย NX100 แต่ดูไม่ได้รับความนิยมนัก แต่ซัมซุงก็ยังบุกตลาดนี้ต่อด้วย NX200 ที่เป็นการอัพเกรดตามรอบปี
